What a safe alternative to using your credit card and getting the number stolen! There is no longer (and hasn’t been for several months) a fee to call and get your balance. They did raise the handling fee to $2.00 when you buy the card, but it is worth it. These cards are good anywhere that takes VISA. I would be happy to get one as a gift, especially with the high price of gas right now!
